During the visit, students explored various advanced physical therapy departments, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to state-of-the-art equipment, including:
- Hydrotherapy: Featuring therapeutic pools, wave pools, and underwater cameras for in-depth analysis and treatment optimization.
- Pediatric Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation: Offering specialized therapies tailored to pediatric needs.
- Sports Rehabilitation: Highlighting performance measurement techniques, rehabilitation practices, and recovery strategies for athletes.
- Neuro-Rehabilitation: Focused on post-stroke and nerve injury recovery using internationally advanced equipment in line with the recommendations of the American Physical Therapy Association.
The field trip provided a comprehensive overview of how theoretical studies are applied in professional settings, equipping students with the skills and confidence necessary to excel in their careers. This initiative is part of the Faculty of Physical Therapy’s continuous efforts to provide students with meaningful learning experiences that bridge the gap between academia and industry.
