Dear students, future communication scholars…
It’s with a great pleasure that I welcome you to join MSA’s faculty of mass communication, wishing you all a fruitful academic year. Becoming a part of MSA and mass communication faculty, you have gained the opportunity to receive education in one of the most prominent educational organizations in the entire region.
New beginnings are always confusing; you must all feel fear of the gap you will face between your school and college education; but I assure you that you will all witness your anxieties fade away day by day. Each and every one of our academic staff is willing to offer you help and guidance whenever needed so never hesitate to ask.
Joining our faculty, you will have the chance to know about the three departments available in the field of mass communication if you have a passion for writing you will find in journalism electives a wide arena to express this passion; and in a fierce competitive market place, creativity in creating advertising campaigns has become an intriguing necessity; marketing and public relations electives provides you with the essential tools for launching successful promotional campaigns and for the power of imaginary, broadcasting courses is a perfect choice to get in touch with this talent and feel this power that is way beyond imagination.
In our faculty you will be well prepared for the field work, you will learn practically the most recent media technologies, in our labs and studios, you will be able to work in the field, as the MSA alumni are in the best posts and positions in the media field.
Finally, I would like to tell you that moments you spend in college are priceless. Make the best of them as much as you can. Learn, join activities, make memories but above all pursue your passion in a field that is only suitable for talented, passionate, persistent individuals. Wish you all the best….

Dr. Abeer Salem joined MSA in 2013. She is Head of Quality and teaches development communication, international communication and research methods. She is an experienced researcher, program developer, and educator. She has diverse national and international expertise in the fields of international development, intercultural communication, education, sustainability, and management. Dr. Abeer has long experience serving as Principal Investigator on various research studies and overseeing international development programs. Her international publications address sustainability issues in relevance to leadership, communication, indigenous entrepreneurship, indigenous learning, and Higher Education. Dr. Abeer Salem is the Egypt Country Director of the International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association and is a member on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, Emerald Publishing.

Dr. Aidi Gomaa is a professor at MSA and a weekly writer at AlAhram Newspaper. Dr. Gomaa is the author of many books. He received the Prize of the Egyptian Writers Union in Arabic literature. His research, articles, and poems are published in many scientific and literary journals. Dr. Gomaa participates in many television and radio programs with interest in Arab literature.

Dr. Dina Maurice is a highly accomplished Communications expert and television producer with a proven track record of success in the television industry. With over 15 years of experience in various channels and networks such as ON E, ON TV, Dream TV, and most recently MBC Masr in the 'El Hekaya with Air Adeeb' Program.
Throughout her career, Dr. Dina has held diverse roles, showcasing her versatility and comprehensive understanding of the media landscape. She has excelled as a TV researcher, adeptly uncovering relevant information and insights to support compelling storytelling. As a skilled script writer, she has crafted engaging narratives that resonate with audiences. Additionally, she has successfully served as a field producer, line producer, and segment producer.
Dr. Dina's expertise extends to a wide range of TV formats, including talk shows and investigative shows. Her in-depth knowledge of these formats enables her to design and execute captivating programs that captivate viewers and leave a lasting impact. Her ability to navigate the complexities of the media landscape, combined with Dr. Dina's sharp analytical skills, has consistently resulted in the creation of engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Dr. Dina is a graduate of Cairo University’s Faculty of Mass Communication, where she currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Communication. This academic foundation has equipped her with a deep understanding of the underlying principles and theories that drive effective PR and Communications strategies.
