B.A., Mass Communication, Broadcasting major, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, MSA in 2021 with highest honors.
Ms. Rana appointed to MSA in 2022 after receiving her Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Mass Communication, with an “Excellent” academic degree with highest honors in 2021. Before joining MSA, she was working as a video editor at Food Today.
Also, she has field experiences at El Youm7 as a video editor, El-Mehwar TV Channel as a researcher, POVO Studios as a video editor, AL-Nahar TV Channel as a promotional video editor and MENA as a news writer.
Regarding the Artificial Intelligence field, Rana is certified from Huawei, HCIA AI.
Ms. Rana has assisted in teaching some courses such as introduction to broadcasting, broadcast performance and broadcasting workshop.
She is also a member of the MCOM Studios Production team, which helps students improve their media production skills.

Ms. Rokaya Saber is currently perusing her master’s degree in Digital International Marketing Strategies at the faculty of mass communication, Cairo university (English Section). She took several courses in the same field. Ms. Saber has worked as a Social Media Specialist in Tafra Advertising Agency, and in the Public Relations Department in Tiba Company.
Strategic Communication Program
The Strategic Communication Program at the Faculty of Mass Communication, October University for Modern Sciences and Arts, in collaboration with a British university, aims to produce exceptional graduates who can keep pace with the rapid developments in public relations, advertising, and digital marketing. By utilizing artificial intelligence technologies across various fields, our graduates will contribute to positive societal change. Through the development of both practical and theoretical skills aligned with the competitive job market, our department fosters entrepreneurship in the field of strategic communication.
The Faculty of Mass Communication organized the “DESIGN HUB” exhibition, which witnessed a special presentation of its students' creations in the “Electronic Publishing MCOM102”, “Principles of Design MCOM104” and “MCOM226 Advertising Workshop” courses.

Faculty of Media at MSA University were honored for winning 7 awards in the Media Innovation and Scientific Research Competition organized by the Media and Digital Transformation Foundation. Awards: First place in dramatic films. Second place in documentary films. Third place in documentary films. First place in the Innovation Award in Public Relations and Advertising. First place in scientific research. The celebration was held at Egypt University for Science and Technology. This competition is the largest and most important competition in the Arab world and Africa, which promotes media talents and encourages constructive competition. Distinguished projects were selected with the help of an international jury team that works to develop their abilities by interacting with their colleagues.

Student Presentation
Board of Study and Student Representation.
The purpose of the board of study is to provide a forum for discussion between students and staff involved in all aspects of the course.
The membership includes:
- Chair (Dean).
- Director of Quality Assurance.
- Director of Student Affairs.
- Advising and Registration Manager.
- Relevant course leaders.
- Student Representatives.
- Support Services Representatives.
- Secretary to take the minutes.
The students volunteer as representatives at the start of each academic year and students’ affair ensures that all various interests on the course are represented. Student representatives are responsible for notifying the board with the students concerns, suggestions and complains. A meeting is held during each semester normally in the weeks 6-8 as declared in the quality assurance calendar. Dates of the board of studies are published on MSA website.
The agenda must include all obligatory items but further items suggested by student representatives and members of the committee should be added where appropriate.
The minutes should cover all agenda items and include a summary of the main points of discussion and an action/outcomes list. Any actions required should include the timescale, the name of the person responsible and when a report back to the board is expected, they should also include progress of actions from the previous minutes.
